APEL.A

Your Alternative Pathway to Higher Education

What is APEL.A?

The Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning for Access (APEL.A) is a flexible admission pathway designed for individuals who do not meet the traditional academic entry requirements but have valuable knowledge, skills, and experiences.

At Asia e University (AeU), APEL.A recognizes your real-world learning — gained through work, community involvement, or self-learning — and translates it into an opportunity to pursue accredited higher education programmes.

Why Choose APEL.A at AeU?

  • Experience Counts – Your career and life experiences become the foundation for university admission.
  • Inclusive & Flexible – Open to both Malaysian and international applicants.
  • Applicable to All Programmes – Covers all AeU-accredited qualifications under the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF).
  • A Clear Path Forward – A structured and transparent process that values your lifelong learning.

How It Works

  2. Submit Application – Provide supporting documents and details of your learning experiences.
  3. Assessment Process – Your prior experiential learning is assessed by AeU’s APEL Panel.
